Terms of use

Last updated: November 6, 2026.

These terms apply to the Hovertest app (iOS and Android) and to this website. By using them, you accept these terms. Our privacy policy explains that we collect no personal data.

Who we are

Hovertest is published and sold by Pierre FERROLLIET, individual entrepreneur (EI), 27 rue Jérôme Dulaar, 69004 Lyon, France, SIREN 798 191 458, [email protected].

An independent study tool

No guarantee of passing

Your result on the FAA test depends on you. Scores and readiness shown in the app are study indicators, not a prediction of your result. We do not guarantee that you will pass.

Charts are for practice only

Chart excerpts come from FAA VFR sectional charts and FAA data that are valid for a limited time (56 days for sectional charts), and the FAA does not guarantee the accuracy of UAS Facility Maps. Never use the app or this website to plan or conduct a flight: use current official charts and the FAA's authorization tools.

Purchase

Licence and intellectual property

Liability

The app and the website are provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to Hovertest is limited to the amount you paid for the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or the mandatory rights you have as a consumer in your country of residence.

Changes

We may update these terms, for example when the app gains new features. The date above shows the latest version. The terms in force when you bought the app keep applying to that purchase.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Disputes go to the courts of Lyon, France, unless the law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring them before your local courts. Before any claim, please write to [email protected]: we will try to solve it with you.
